I avoid goodbyes at all costs
They hurt too much
Hugs linger a little too long,
Not wanting to let go is rough.
Sometimes goodbyes can't be dodged.
I've had to say too many lately
So I have learned a few things,
Don't cry.
It makes it harder for them to leave
That's not fair.
Smile through the pain.
Do what's best.
Don't let them see a tear.
Say goodbye,
And if you are lucky,
And it's really love,
Goodbye won't be forever.
um i want to quote this whole thing cause LOVED IT. goodbyes are the hardest things. and this is so true:
